Sponsoring Body:

The Sponsoring Body of the College is Ka Synjuk Ki Dorbar Shnong Shangpung. Ka Synjuk Ki Dorbar Shnong Shangpung, as the name itself signifies is an association of 9 (nine) villages namely, Shangpung Pohshnong, Shangpung Mission, Shangpung Khliehmushut, Shangpung Moolibang, Shangpung Moosyiem, Shangpung Khliehrangnah, Shangpung Koira, Shangpung Mynkrem and Shangpung Myntkung.

Governing Body:

The Governing Body of the College is constituted by the Sponsoring Body for a term of three years and consists of the following members:

1)      The President to be nominated by the Sponsoring Body.

2)      The Vice President to be nominated by the Sponsoring Body.

3)      The Principal of the College who shall be appointed by the Sponsoring Body, shall also be the Secretary of the Governing Body - Ex-Officio.

4)      The Vice Principal of the college - Ex-Officio.

5)      The President of Ka Synjuk ki Dorbar Shnong.

6)      The Secretary of Ka Synjuk ki Dorbar Shnong.

7)      Three members from the Sponsoring Body.

8)      Two Representatives from the Teaching Staff.

9)      One Parent Representative.

10)  One of the Principals of other Colleges under the North Eastern Hill University to be selected by the Governing Body on rotation.

11)  One Member to be nominated by the State Government.

12)  Two Representatives of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).

13)  One prominent citizen.
