Facilities

The College is committed to providing students and staff with basic requirements in the campus. In order to facilitate an effective teaching and learning environment and to enrich the curricular activities of students, the college offers the following facilities.

1. Library:

   The college provides a well-equipped library with a vast collection of academic resources, including textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals and digital resources. Students have access to study materials in various fields of study to support their coursework and research.  The library also offers quiet study spaces, a reading room, and access to e-books and online journals. Students can borrow books using their ID cards, and the library is open during specified hours, ensuring availability before and after class hours.

2. Separate Washrooms for Males and Females:

   Hygienic washrooms are provided separately for male and female students, ensuring privacy and cleanliness. The washrooms are cleaned regularly and well maintained. Special care is taken to maintain hygiene and sanitation, with regular checks by the maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.

3. Computer Lab:

   The college provides a fully equipped computer lab with high-speed internet access and the latest software to support students’ academic needs. Students can use the lab for assignments, research, and other academic related activities. The computer lab is open during designated hours and is supervised by trained staff who assist students with their queries. All systems are updated regularly to ensure they are functioning smoothly.

4. Canteen:

   A canteen is available on campus, offering a variety of affordable and hygienic food options, including snacks, meals, and beverages. The canteen follows strict hygiene standards and provides seating arrangements where students can relax during breaks.

5. CCTV Surveillance:

   To ensure safety and security on campus, the college has installed CCTV cameras at strategic locations. The CCTV system is monitored by trained personnel to enhance campus security and to prevent incidents like theft, misconduct, or unauthorized entry. This system helps maintain a safe learning environment for all students and staff.

6. Football Ground

   The college offers a football ground that meets the required standards for students to participate in sports and recreational activities. The ground is well-maintained and open to students during designated hours for practice and matches. Students can participate in regular sporting events, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition.

7. Parking Lot for Students (Two-Wheeler Only):

     The college provides a dedicated parking lot exclusively for students’ two-wheelers.   Unauthorized vehicles or improper parking is not permitted in the college campus.

8. Parking Lot for Staff:

   A separate staff parking area is designated for faculty and administrative staff, ensuring ample space for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

9. Water Filter:

   Clean and safe drinking water is provided through water filtration systems installed at various locations across the campus, including near classrooms, library and common areas.

10. Wi-Fi:

   The college offers Wi-Fi across the campus, enabling students and staff to stay connected and access online resources for academic and research purposes.

11. Grievances Box:

   A grievances box is installed on campus to allow students and staff to submit complaints, suggestions, or feedback anonymously. The college administration checks the grievances box regularly and takes prompt action to address the issues raised. This system ensures that everyone’s concerns are heard and resolved in a fair and timely manner. 12. Notice Board:

   The college has several notice boards placed in key areas such as the principal’s room, office and computer lab. Notices regarding exams, events, schedules, scholarships, and other college-related activities are regularly updated on these boards, ensuring that students and staff stay informed.

13. College Bus:

     The college also has a college bus for transportation of students during programmes and other related matters.
