The curriculum focus on both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences, preparing students for careers in environmental management, conservation, and policy-making.

The objective of the Environmental Studies Department is to cultivate students participate in tree-planting drives, waste management projects, and awareness campaigns about climate change and sustainability, promote sustainable practices, and foster community responsibility. Through active participation in the Eco Club, disaster management training, cultural activities, and health awareness campaigns, the department aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address environmental challenges, contribute to disaster preparedness and advocate for healthier, eco-friendly lifestyles. Ultimately, the department seeks to create informed, responsible individuals who are committed to protecting both the environment and public health.

Moreover, the department is actively involved in disaster management training, recognizing the growing importance of preparedness in an era of frequent natural calamities. Workshops and drills are conducted in collaboration with local authorities, equipping students with the skills needed to respond effectively to environmental disasters.

In addition to environmental advocacy, the department plays a crucial role in health awareness campaigns, such as tobacco control.
